Chose your own adventure:
I’ve charted each mitten width in two different lengths, make sure to follow the directions for the length you need. If you aren’t sure which you need try your mittens on before you get to the point where you need to make the decision of which chart to follow. It is easy to try on the side-gore mittens, but for the peasant you need to take one of the thumbs off the scrap yarn. If I want to try my mittens on I carefully remove the scrap yarn and put the stitches above and below it on another piece of scarp yarn or a couple of spare needles.
As for color, you are basically working this section the same way you did clue 2. You will notice that the top of the palm has a few flowers, if you want to add some CC2 to the palm this would be a good place to do it. You could knit them in while working which would require working with three colors or you could duplicate stitch them in afterwards. I decided just to keep them in my CC1.
If you have purchased the pattern on Ravelry look for an update in your library, clue 3 has been added to the pattern. Otherwise, download clue 3 here.
